Gran Caffè in Metropolitan City of Rome Capital

"An American and my first evening in Rome and these folks were so kind.... That just made the experience even better The food that we had were all patisserie and as a chef I can tell you that that was some of the best tastiest pastry I've had in a very long time. The cream horns were outstanding crisp perfectly baked delightful amount of sugar lovely cream, the fruit tarts fantastic little mini delights with perfectly done crust and sweet ripe fruit that was just at its peak... I sampled one of every kind but my utmost favorite is something in my world we call the oyster it looks like an oyster it's this very crispy filo dough and then stuffed inside is this just delicious cream... I will definitely be back before I leave I will make it a point to put a box together to take with me to the airport. I only wish they would make it home oh and by the way please don't ever stop making your elephant ears!!!! Some people call them butterfly cookies the phyllo dough shape like some people say a butterfly we call an elephant ears and then they're coated in that sweet glaze with a light sprinkling of sanding sugar they are absolutely perfectly baked. "Sono cliente da tanti anni del grancaffe. Ho sempre trovato cortesia e disponibilità, da parte di tutto il personale. Ragazzi sempre super gentili educati e attenti ma un attenzione particolare ad Alessio. Il barista che fa la differenza, la classica frase "Il mio barista è differente"! Ragazzo empatico, gentile educato e sempre scherzoso ma mai sopra le righe. Insomma un piacere venire lì. Un abbraccio a tutto lo staff avanti così ragazzi!!!"

"Ottimo per un pasto completo e veloce, con spesa contenuta; molto varia la scelta dei tre menù a prezzo fisso. L'unica pecca del pasto sta nel pane, che è tutta mollica.... Comunque, se volete un'alternativa alla pizza e ai panini qui al gran caffè troverete quel che cercate."

Prezzo € 10.50 Scontrino e poi ho chiesto i cocktail al barista che mi ha gentilmente inviato ad accomodarmi al tavolo perché mi avrebbe fatto portare tutto dal personale addetto. Ottimi cocktail e stuzzichini oltre le aspettative per essere "base", pizzette ottime oltre al resto, il tutto servito in modo educato, professionale e con il sorriso. Ritorneremo per fare un aperitivo completo e provare anche la gelateria molto apprezzata da tanta gente."
